\We wish you all a peaceful, productive and secure New Year, a day of resolutions. Everyone makes our own resolutions - to hope for a healthier life, to hope for a more honest life, to hope for a better life and to hope for a happier life.
I have been working on a Moodle, a Doodle takeoff, for the last 3-4 days. The concept for the Moodle – Doodle took my only 30 minutes. But the actual drawing the doodle took me more than 33 hours and it will be complete only a day later.
The full animated Happy New Year 2016 Moodle – Doodle is made up of 85 individual frames. Everyone of them were hand drawn (with the inbuilt tools) in Paint.NET (PdN). All the effects - water, rain, quake, dropping net, sassy cow, flying planes, the googly eyes, and everything else - were done with the Effects plugins in PdN
I did not save the file in the native PDN (Paint Dot Net) format, but as XCF (native format of GIMP), because XCF is less lossy than PDN or PSD formats. Finally the final XCF was opened up in GIMP, to create the animated GIF - PdN (till ver 4.8.0.) cannot do a decent Animated GIF.
So here is the 33 hour effort. Wish everyone a very, happy, and prosperous New Year in 2016.
