We are in the starting quarter of the famed F1 Silly Season, but my own silly season seems to have peaked. If yesterday was the silly ghillie suit time, today it was fun with a potato. I found this spud with a curious shape, which reminded me of someone or something.
It had two large circular protrusions, and one smaller knob, All through the night, I kept dreaming of this potato, and its curious shape. Off I went for the morning walk, and to fetch milk. As I passed a garbage bin, something scurried about it. A small mouse was rummaging in the trash – guess not only an early bird, but also an early mouse gets something.
That was an eureka moment. Back at home, I reached for the black marker, and etched the odd shaped potato. Here is the potato head Mickey Mouse – haven’t seen this guy for so many years.
Without the morning caffeine fix, the eye-hand coordination was not something to talk about, still, I think I got the likeness.
