Who will be the next James Bond

They brought back SPECTRE, now they want to bring back Timothy Dalton with Damian Lewis  as James Bond.  Arrgh! To be fair to Timothy Dalton, and on second thoughts after once again watching The Living Daylights a couple of months ago, he probably portrayed the actual James Bond envisaged by Ian Fleming.

But as a commercial success, and as a James Bond presence, how he sucked!  It may not be right to comparison-shop Timothy Dalton’s James Bond with that of the debonair, almost upper-crust James Bond played by Roger Moore.  But exactly such comparison arose (in the mind of the movie goers) to result in Dalton’s defeat.

Today, after Daniel Craig (47), if they want to go back to an almost as old Damian Lewis (44) for James Bond, there is something seriously wrong with Eon, Sony, and MGM.  I fear that Damian Lewis will only be slightly better than Idris Elba as a Black Bond, or a Magneto Bond by Michael Fassbender.
