One step forward, Two steps back in e-judicary

It seems, our Constitution needs an amendment like, 'WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and'.

should continue as :
'PROMISE to ensure that any PROGRESSIVE, MODERN, DEMOCRATIC and UNIVERSAL proposals are to be simultaneously negated by another BACKWARD, ARCHAIC, ANARCHIC and DIVISIVE proposal.'

Nation faces shortage of leadership with nobility: Kalam
Thursday November 2 2006 00:00 IST   -  PTI
President A P J Abdul Kalam on Wednesday stressed that all 15,000 trial courts in the country should be computerised and connected with the Supreme Court and High Courts. "Computerisation of the supreme court, high courts and the sub-ordinate courts is essential for development of the e-judiciary system," he said.

Deccan Chronicle (www.deccan.com) dated Nov, 2, 2006.
Chennai, Nov. 1: Chief minister M. Karunanidhi on Wednesday appealed to all political leaders and other prominent people to strive for the development of Tamil and to also ensure that it became the sole language for all court proceedings, participating in the celebration held by the state government on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the formation of Tamil Nadu following the states’ reorganisation on linguistic lines.  CPI state secretary D. Pandian said court affidavits, now in English, should be presented in Tamil.

So, if both these proposals go through, what will be the use of interlinking?  What use is a court – Trial, High or even the Supreme Court – in another state from Tamil Nadu going to do with an ‘interlinked’ network and the files, if they are in Tamil?

As I said, read on & cry.
