Dynamic versus Static–electricity

I don't know what dynamic can do, but static can do this to you!!

:-o
Watch what happens, when the woman touches the filler gun the 2nd time.

The probable causes are:

  • she keeps wiping her hands on her dress - probably nylon or lycra - before touching the filler gun the second time;
  • she gets into and slides out of the car.

Either could cause static charge to build up.  My off-the-head suggestion is to discharge any built up static charge by touching the metal part of the car, before handling the filler gun – either when starting the process, or for the second time to stop the refuelling.
