If last year’s Google Doodle for Pakistan Independence Day was derisive, IMHO, this year’s does it one better. It seems to deride Pakistan about its future.
As usual, the faithful of the Pakistan, no doubt pre-occupied with their own fundamentalist-terror trouble, waxed eloquent in the digital world.
Just take a look for yourself at the Google Doodle for Pakistan Independence Day.
The Doodle is said to reflect the supposedly beautiful Pakistan Monument in Islamabad, and the rapid progress of that country.
To me it looks more like:
OTOH, watch out for the beautiful Doodle which is sure to be presented tomorrow in Google India homepage.

To me it looks more like:
- the unveiling of a Dalek from Dr. Who, in a dark and forbidding place, reminiscent of the lonely, scary place from the Arabian Nights; or,
- one of those anti-nuclear bomb posters, where the bomb is shown with the explosion plume, which the monument looks like;
- the rounded view pane which resembles the expanding mushroom cloud; and,
- the darkened, starry sky signifying the nuclear winter, and the bleak future for Pakistan.
OTOH, watch out for the beautiful Doodle which is sure to be presented tomorrow in Google India homepage.
