Squirrels and I have a tie on Guavas

The saga of the tussle between I and the squirrels for the heist of the home grown guavas continue.  I do not know whether it is the hot spell Chennai was going through, but the guava tree is in plenty of fruits.

So it was the chip and dale duo had a merry time of it.  Once again, the early morning shrill squeaks and scurrying meant a lot of bitten guavas.  Unable to bear the thought of the squirrels gobbling up all the fruits, I decided to get in action.

A couple of hours after the squirrels had their day’s gorging, I started out to pluck all the guavas, whether bitten through or fresh.  The result was an astounding haul of 14 fruits, all of them ripe enough for a juicy bite.

Having plucked all the 14 fruits, it was time to capture them for posterity.  That is where the impish nature of the chip and dale squirrel duo took over me.

The flavour of the month being the green fields of the football field, and the biting Luis Suárez, here is the snapshot in home to them.

All it needed was an addition of Brazilian flag to the right, and a German flag to the left, is it not?  Would reflect the battered, bruised, and broken Brazil football team, which ended with the humiliation of 0-3 to Netherlands, on top of the 1-7 whipping by Germany.
