No Gandhi Jayanthi 2013 Doodle, Have a Moodle

Google in another bungle did not put up a Doodle for Gandhi Jayanthi, today, 02 October 2013.  But that’s not a surprise as there have been no Doodle for Gandhi Jayanthi in 2010, 2011 or 2012.  The last time Google did Doodle for Gandhi Jayanthi was in 2009.  And 02 October is also the birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri, the 2nd Prime Minister of India.

So what if Google forgot the last messiah-of-peace to walk on this earth?  They do refuse to put up a Doodle for the messiah-of-peace to walk this earth before Gandhi!

BTW 02 October is also celebrated as the International Day of Non violence in memory of Mahatma Gandhi.  So here is a Moodle instead of the missing Gandhi Jayanthi 2013 Doodle.

• The second is the Mahatma as a student of Law, ~ 1888.
• The 3rd image is from his days in South Africa, ~ 1895.

• The 5th is an oil sketch - origin unknown.
• The last image is the well known image of the Father of the Nation - graces (almost) every currency note of India.
