This year Google lets us celebrate Halloween with a Witch’s Brew Google Doodle. The interactive doodle begins with a green-faced witch going through a spell book with the word Google across the front of it in ‘witch-script’.
:-D
Clicking takes us to the next scene where the witch is stirring a pot with greenish brew. Hovering around are the ingredients to add into the pot - an apple, a skull, a bone and a blue-potion bottle.
Adding a combination of any two, stirs up different scenarios, which are small playable games:
The games are all simple, so don’t go looking for a ‘conclusion’ or ‘end’ in the Halloween 2013 Google Doodle.
Of all the 6 games, the only one which I found to have a Halloween spirit (no pun intended) is the spot the spook with the flashlight. It is the only one which gives a sort of jerk, when the spook appears!

- whack-a-mole with creeping hands instead of mole,
- shell game with spot the mummy out of 3 coffin,
- light up the lantern with jack-o-lanterns,
- release the ghosts from a haunted house,
- spot the spook with a flashlight, and,
- snip the spider webs.
