Sunday, 7th July is the Mithuna (மிதுன மாஸ) maasa Amavasya day. That new moon day in Tamil Calendar is the Aani maasa (ஆனி மாஸ) Amavasya.
After a gap of 2 months (due to a family health issue), this month the Amavasya procedure in Tamil will probably be uploaded tomorrow.
Actually I wanted to do it today. But when I started to work on it, there came a better idea. What if the whole procedure can be personalized using current cloud computing techniques?
Can it be done in a way that readers can feed/type in their gothras and names and get a customized, personalized file with the gothras and names of pitrus filled in? It would certainly be better than those awful ……….. which appear in between.
So after poking around with Google Docs, Google Spreadsheet and Google Forms for 6 hours, here is the beta.
If enough people find it useful, I plan to work on it to further improve and put out a fully stable version.
