Oh Eff! Just couldn’t believe my eyes. And it was a classic double take. A few minutes back spotted a grey Aston Martin Rapide floating, purring, gliding, gracing through my street.
The cute thing inside also did a double take. I guess she didn’t expect anyone to actually recognize an Aston Martin Rapide for what it is in my part of Chennai.

At Rs. 2.55 Crores I should consider myself lucky to have viewed it at such a close range (~ 2 feet). Seeing the run of luck I’m going thorough, I guess that’s the nearest I’ll ever get near an Aston Martin Rapide.

But, who knows! Maybe I’ll also do a Vadra and my own DLF would materialise to make me a billionaire in 2 years.

Oh. BTW, it was a Pondicherry registered Aston Martin Rapide. And it is the Aston Martin Rapide model - not the Rapide Luxe model. And no, Daniel Craig as James Bond doesn’t get to drive a Rapide in Skyfall. He gets the DB5, not even the DBS.
