The third doll collected on the Third Night of this navarathri celebrations. Here you see the most traditional of golu arrangement.
I am not going to go on about the arrangement today, because I am in an off mood. Not because of Navrathri or golu - but at the Google’s take down notices on YouTube.
It is almost 2 months since I started to clean up the blog - remove the broken links etc., and I was astonished to see that many videos on YouTube uploaded by others, not me, have disappeared.
They have disappeared due to take down notices by Google - and I have one or two things to say about it. In fact my thoughts are so profound that it might open up a new strategy / thought-line for Google or its lawyers.
I am not boasting. And sticking to my vow that never to blog when upset or angry, I am not going to go on further on that issue. By that criteria even this article should not be posted.
But I don’t want to spoil the continuing series. And above all, I don’t want to feel upset - not ever, especially not during Navarathri.
So here instead, is a nice golu presentation. Reflecting my mood, the arrangement is preoccupied. It reflects the care and dedication, but is a display where the preoccupation is reflected.
The golu isn’t arranged to enhance the space occupancy or the aesthetics, reflecting the mood. A state of mind which mirrors my own mood tonight, preoccupied but methodical, unorthodox yet submissive - with spaces left vacant to be filled in.
So, here I give the preoccupied golu arrangement:
