The third doll collected on the Third Night of this navarathri celebrations. Here you see the most traditional of golu arrangement. Of the 3 photos of golu photos posted here, two were without the famous kalasam.
Yesterday’s article was the first one to have the traditional kalasam displayed. That one was a simple bare-bone kalasam. If you haven’t you can take a look here. The kalasam is marked with a square.
Today we catch sight of a decorated kalasam, which is made to look like a woman - actually the Goddess - taking her place in the display. I will tell you one thing though.
Decorating a kalasam like the one on display today would have taken a better part of an hour by itself. No one can claim that displaying a golu is a child’s work.

Note too how the two masonry shelves have been cleverly integrated with the golu steps to extend the display.
