Of all the bleeding issues around me today, including that of Tropical Cyclone Nilam, I have a sudden issue today. How to watch one of the first shows, if not ‘the’ first show.
Watching the first show in Chennai is not an issue at all, to me at least, right now. I can even now, (just confirmed), get a VIP ticket - on payment of course, nothing free for me, except the software I use - for tomorrow’s first show at Chennai in one of the leading theatres.
But that is in Tamil. My influence or ‘pull’ is limited to them. But I want to watch the true blood English version, tomorrow, in time to get back and blog about it, before it is screened for public in the US.
Well, tomorrow morning, I am going to try if I can. Most likely, I will not be able to do so. But if lady luck smiles, let us see.

Update (01 Nov 2012): No chance of getting into the first shows. In a bit of surprise, I was invited to one of the early shows on a complimentary ticket. I declined - it was for the dubbed Tamil version. Guk! Daniel Craig speaking chaste Tamil? I would rather 'M' shoot him!
