The first thing I look for on Independence Day is not the flag but the Google Doodle. In case you didn’t know, Google has been celebrating India’s Independence Day from 2003 with a Google Doodle (except in 2004 and 2009).
Today morning when I checked up (about 2 hours before this post), I was disappointed. The Doodle celebrating India’s Independence Day did not appear till about 08:00 IST. Before it appeared I was a little put off, especially when I checked up and found that Google had released a Doodle for our ‘country cousins’ yesterday.
Yeah Google has been releasing Doodle for Pakistan Independence Day too - but only from 2010.
Here is the beautiful Doodle representing a shy peacock (or is it a preening peacock?).
