Now you see the leaves, once again

There is an old saying ‘When is the right time to plant the tree?’.  The reply goes ‘The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.  The next is right now’.
;-)

I couldn’t do it 20 years ago, but darn glad to have done the right thing in May 2004.  8 years ago, in a momentary lapse of eco-friendliness, I planted an Indian soap nut tree in front of my apartment complex.  That tree has been mentioned at least once every year in this blog.
As pictured in the last post, the tree started shedding its leaves and was almost bare last Wednesday, 11th of April.  By Sunday, it had grown all its leaves back.  Here is the now-you-don’t-see-it and now-you-see-it mashup.

My Wondering half whispers, ‘Isn’t it great to see such a transformation in just 3 days?’

By the way I had another momentary lapse in April last year.  To read about it, you’ve to wait till 29 April - its first anniversary.
