I guess whoever said it hadn’t seen these Kusa Grass Flip-Flops. Looks kind of cool, but does it have too much of grass?
BTW that’s not real grass, but synthetic grass or the artificial turf on which they play games these days. Whatever it seems like another good idea - and one which doesn’t claim any 'medicinal’ properties.
I remember a few years back, a new fad came with Acupressure sandals. With claims that it betters blood circulation and makes the wearer healthier. About the only thing it didn’t promise was growing hair on bald heads.
I know of many guys who fell for it. I never knew whether their hearts felt better, but I sure know that many of them ended with rashes and infections on their feet. Seems the ‘cracks’ between the ‘dimples’ in the sandals are quite good for dirt and bacteria, especially when it gets wet.
:-P
Whatever, at AUS$30 (~Rs. 1,600), the Grass flip-flops are a bit too steep for my pocket. Guess I’ll have to wait for the Chinese copies to flood the market (and whether this new fad too is infection friendly).
:-D
