As part of #BlackoutSOPA or #SOPAstrike, the Google homepage (search page) has started to sport a link “Tell Congress: Please don't censor the web!”, (though its Google India @ google.co.in page does not).
I thought they would either come up with an appropriate Google Doodle or even just an all Black ‘Google’ - but nothing so spectacular.
However the English language Wikipedia site has been blacked out. Spectacular!
And so has BoingBoing
Of course, monkeyshine nutworks already sports its own version of a layover. I went with the layover for
To use it just insert a ‘.m’ in the URL. For eg., the English Wikipedia URL for India is ‘en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India’.
To use the mobile page the corresponding URL is ‘en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/India’ - and yes, you can use it from your PC too.

- being a blogger (blogspot) hosted site, there is a limit to what I can and cannot do.
