The page view average has been consistently close to or above 100 per day! WOW! If this continues the same way, monkeyshine nutworks might well touch a nice round satisfying number of 22,222 by the New Year’s eve.
And perhaps reach the milestone of 25,000 page views in total for the Pongal Holidays in mid January 2012. While it is a long way from 2 years back when even 2 page views a day used to send me into raptures or an year back when 22 page views sent me to cloud nine, it is far, far away from having 22,222 readers every day - Now, that would mean I have conquered the world!
>;-D
To put it in perspective, not for a moment do I believe that movers and shakers are even glancing at monkeyshine nutworks. My writing and acquiring 22,222 readers everyday is like standing at the Marina Beach, Chennai and looking out to sea, mesmerised by the magnificent waves arrive crashing in.
To put in my 2 bits - people, especially from my home town Chennai repeatedly claim that the Marina Beach is the 2nd longest beach in the World. It is not true. At about 8 miles long (13 km) it is certainly the longest beach in India, and would definitely count in the longest dozen or twenty beaches of the World.
Anyway, if the Bay of Bengal with its magnificent waves is the Blogosphere, then monkeyshine nutworks is not even like:
My Mischievous side murmurs, ‘Is that www.madmadrasi.net on the laptop? Now how did I do that?’
LOL

- showing off in a speed boat, creating a sparkling wake which is noticeable for a minute or two
- sailing gracefully in a catamaran, marking a harmonious run, in tune with the wind and the sea
- a diving jump into the sea, creating a splash and ripple and making some heads turn.
