Poop throwing Chimp, mower grabbing Croc and school crashing Tuskers

Just a week after the poop throwing Penguins at the Edinburg Zoo, there is the news that Cheetah the Chimp which appeared in Tarzan movies in 1930s also used to throw poop at the people.

Sadly, we hear of it only when the Chimp died  at the ripe and amazing old age of 80, on Saturday!  It used to be fun to watch the reruns of the original Tarzan movies, shot without CGI and modern movie cameras and techniques.  I still remember the names of two Tarzans - Johnny Wiesmuller and Buster Crabbe.

In between, the Tamil Daily Dinamalar reports that on 23rd December, a small group of elephants numbering five, including a baby elephant wandered into a school at Trichur District, Kerala.  Seems the baby started exploring the classrooms and managed to get inside one, but couldn’t come out.

Soon seems the adult elephants decided enough is enough and demolished  the classroom to rescue the baby elephant.  Seems that schools, even if closed for the night, can teach some lessons!
:-)

All the way across, down under, was the news that Elvis the saltwater Crocodile, grabbed a lawn mover when its sound irritated him, drowned the mover and sat guard over his prize for almost an hour.
LOL

Seems Elvis the croc is really cranky and aggressive - and ate up two of his girlfriends when they came too near!  Cute!
