Whoo! Whoo! There is nothing quite like seeing money flow. And if it is money which flows not directly because of your work, but because of a related issue, over which you haven’t put in much effort - in other words if easy money flows, the pleasure is immense and inexpiable.
:-D
So after finally putting up the AdSense account as recounted, (and not set up, as recounted there), I forgot about it till day before. On Sunday, on a whim I checked up the earnings to find, what else, but a big, big, zero, there. Cannot claim to be disappointed as I never expected to make much out of it.
Thus it was with disdain I clicked on the earnings tab today morning to find that there has actually been some big money (0.35 cents, actually) in there. WOW!
So on December 19th, the AdSense earnings on my blog has been 0.35 cents and seeing the free fall of the Indian Rupee versus the US Dollar, which is at an all time low of ~INR 54/$, it converts to Rs. 19/-. So another 28 more days like that would have paid enough for one year’s domain registration charges of Rs. 540/-.
:-)
Seeing that it took the blog about 2 years to reach an average page views of about 70 to 100 a day, I guess it would take me another 2 years before AdSense can fetch 7 to 10$ a day, which would be manna from heaven.

Yuck!
