An Innovator is no more - We and Science are losers

Probably the greatest tribute is in the words of today’s The Hindu online edition “Steve Jobs had no formal schooling in engineering, yet he’s listed as the inventor or co-inventor on more than 300 U.S. patents”.

That says it all. 

• Never having used any of his (read Apple’s) products - neither the Macs, nor the iPods,
• not likely to fall for an iPad, and
• never having met, spoke or heard Steve Jobs speak,

I cannot write up any tributes which mean something.  That sentence  from the daily 'The Hindu' speaks for itself and me.
