In Europe, blowing balloons needs Age of Consent

Little children are known to get their hands, legs and face dirty.  One of the joys of childhood is playing with abandon and one of the joys of adulthood is scolding them for getting dirty.
:-)

But if the European Union has any say, they might ban children from playing anywhere;  because when children play, they can and do get dirty;  when they dirty their hands, face or other body parts, there is a huge chance of infection.

Okay, I just made it up.  But I wouldn’t be surprised if the killjoys of the EU enact such a stupid law in future.  Please don’t tell me that governments and bureaucrats do not act in stupid manner.

As I posted in TRAI should be renamed ITIAT, politicians and bureaucrats in India are quite capable of any stupidity.  Just as if to prove my point that such stupidity is worldwide, comes the news that EU has banned children below 8 from blowing up balloons, whistles and whatnot.

Even more hilarious is that the party whistles (where a paper tongue sticks out as you blow on the whistle end) are prohibited for children under 14.
8-0

I just cannot resist this -

While the ‘Age of Consent’ in other EU states are above 14, in Spain it is ‘13’.  So would this ban on balloons and whistle blowers apply to condoms too?  Or is it that Spanish children between 13 and 14 can blow on condoms but not on whistles? ROFLMAO.
