If you’d recently logged into YouTube, you can see a ribbon saying ‘New! Animate your own story or create a video slideshow. Try it Now’ [http://www.youtube.com/create]. There are four tools to create your own video, slideshow or animation. I decided to try out with GoAnimate.
At the outset, it is fast, unlike some other similar tools where you’ve to wait for eons before the page loads. You have only a limited range of background scenario and characters to choose in the free/lite mode and have to upgrade to pro if you need additional sceneries/characters.
Once you’ve chosen the scenery and characters it is easy making them talk. Just type in what you want the characters to say in the dialogue box, hit preview and you’re done. There is the ‘previous’ button to edit and reedit to make your production, just so and saving/rendering to your YouTube account is automatic.
If at all I have a gripe, it is that they could give a choice to make the animals male or female, which at present is restricted to ‘all male’, I think. So here is the output of half hour wasted today -
:-D
