WikiLeaks: At last, we have a man with foresight

The politicians may be in a tizzy about the latest WikiLeaks about what my Mr. Hope, Mr. Rahul Gandhi said to the US envoy or not; But I am really impressed.

Relish, India, for that We at last after a decade or so, have a real leader with foresight.

After my leader RG, (none other than the late Rajiv Gandhi), we at last have a leader who thinks of India,
  • as not now,
  • as not how,
  • as not what,
  • but what if?
For as not now, we have many who contemplate on what we have now and what we should do about it.  The whole of Parliamentary opposition had been seized with it. Nothing further needs to be said.

As not how, we have many editorials trying to tell us how we should go about so that we do not go into it again - Again, the same parliamentary standstill and the call for a JPC probe proves this point.

As to what and not what, we have had a President named Mr. Abdul Kalam, who has told us to dream, dream of India Vision 2020.

It is all good.  But me, being of a different take, was always worried about whether we do have someone who actually thinks about all of that together.

Combine the now, how and what and worry about What If?

And with WikiLeaks, I have the answer.  RG has talked about home grown terror which he chose to term as ‘saffron terror’ meaning not only home grown but specifically Hindu originated.  And it is time we woke up to that possibility.

Today, US is worried about their home grown terror, in fact, all of western nations are - with Headly and the NY piss off and others.  In India, we have had at least one sadhvi.  So, RG is right to be worried about what if, in future.

Imagine a ‘Baliban’, something like the ‘Taliban’ taking root in India!
Can a monkeyshine exist under such circumstances?

Indians, Go to bed thanking God we have such a leader as RG who can think ahead.  If such a man soon equipped with experience is at the helm, for another 2 decades, we should have no fear of facing up to the 22nd Century, when our grandchildren will rule forth.

Nothing more needs to be said!

My Mischievous half murmurs, ‘As for Mrs. Gandhi, she *does* lack the killer instinct, as all Indians are supposed to be - haven’t we been all told so?

That even our cricket team lacks that killer punch and we miss to push through when we have an upper hand?

Now that Mrs. Gandhi has been suitably endorsed as ‘never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity’, there should be no more doubts about her nationality.  Where ever she was born - she is undeniably Indian.’
