Not where your are at a disadvantage – that concludes today’s post headlines. If there is a bomb threat reported on board a flight, the 1st instinct should be to get the flight on the ground.
Where the threat can be countered. And such a landing should be, God given, at your strongest point, if possible. Where you can deploy your utmost. But instead a flight allegedly under a bomb-on-board threat was not allowed to land in Delhi where the nation’s security is concentrated at the most, instead diverted to Kolkatta, which would have meant diversion of forces.
