First there was Tiger Woods and then there was Wayne Rooney with their peccadilloes. Meantime there were rumours of Jwala Gutta being linked with that convicted cheat Azharudin who is also a Member of Parliament now. [Some would say it is the same thing, :P ]
To cut the story short, Jwala has shot off her mouth saying that ‘at the CWG, she played with vengeance to win a Gold and since she won it, everyone should shut up’. A double take moment!
What is she trying to say?
- After her Gold medal no one should bother about her ‘personal’ life, or
- She played her best because she was rumoured to have had an affair!
What exactly has a CWG Gold medal or an Olympic Gold medal or even a Nobel Prize got to do with what you’re doing with someone, who is not your spouse? (pun intended)
By her logic, no one including Elin Nordegren or Coleen Rooney has any right to question Tiger, Rooney or Jwala and should just shut up and bear it.
My Mischievous half murmurs, ‘She wants someone to sponsor her after the scandal, while Tiger and Rooney lost million dollar sponsors after the scandal!’ Some woman, Some thinking …
