I just couldn’t bring myself to serve up anything yesterday. Every time I took up a line to blog, my blood began to wrestle and my BP was shooting up. Yup, I am talking of the Commonwealth Games.
For the 1st time in my life, I wished that this country was some other place – like Singapore – where they do have the very deserving punishment of ‘Caning’ or even some middle age hell hole like Iran or Saudi where they still resort to ‘Flogging’.
For I would dearly love to have been a Singaporean Judge or even a Saudi or an Iranian Mullah and order the caning or flogging of the following worthy men and women.
To think that the (late) leader, Rajiv Gandhi did a fantastic job almost 30 years back with the Asian Games, and made it a success – shows the capacity or lack thereof of this PM and his cohorts.
And the bumbling PM talks about having better coordination in his cabinet than even Nehru or Indira years – yeah you ‘worthy’, when you are incompetent, everything seems better. It is time for you to go! – resign and be gone, you, you, incompetent, mumbling, ‘great’ fool!
UPDATE: under advice I’ve toned down the cuss words.

- 1st & foremost, the bureaucratic bumbling ‘great’ man of a PM – who just mumbled platitudes for last six months of the fiasc;
- The Pune Beggar-Dacoit, Suresh Kalmadi, the worthy who has led this alleged scam and the alleged chief of the whole gang of thieves;
- The great man Lalit Bhanot who publicly claimed that Indians don’t mind lying in shit and our standards of hygiene are lesser than the western nations;
- The Queen Bee of Delhi, Shiela Dixit who had the gumption to state that workers lives were not as important as that of athletes or officials when the foot bridge collapse;
- All the ‘worthy’ men and ‘worthy ‘women of the Organising Committee and the Delhi CPWD;
- And a mild rap on the knuckles for the ‘Times of India’ readers who slammed Mani Shankar Aiyar when he first raised the issue and who have no shame now, turning around, and blasting the culprit.
