While our PM has been pleading with terrorists to ‘give peace a chance’ the Russian PM has been taking on wild fires – in a well staged Photo Op, that is – looks more like Judge (Dredd) than a (Prime) Minister doesn’t he?
But then Vlad took on a blogger head on, dripping with sarcasm and wit. One has to admire Vlad, at least he stands up for something he believes in, even if it is not the popular choice.
Our own Bubu doesn’t even stand against what is patently wrong. Long before the Queen got furious at the Commonwealth Games fiasco, our BuBu did not show any backbone when the chowhounds on top of sports federations met him in May. If only he had taken on that gang back then, the CWG fiasco could have been better managed. As usual the Bureaucratic Bumbler did bumble once again.
BTW the report says ‘heads of sporting federations’ met the PM, but doesn’t specify their number. My wicked half wonders whether they were 40 in number
