Tharoor loses his cool with journalist Karan Thapar and calls Thapar ****. It appears that he is revealing his true colours. If you call someone a ****, stick to it, at least. And if you can’t stand the heat, don’t light the fire in the first place.
In this case, I do like that Mulyam Singh Yadav on the ‘Whistling at the women’ statement – he didn’t back down even when several organisations, media and political parties slammed him.
As for Shashi Tharoor and his controversies, it makes you think of a spoiled child rather than a mature diplomat.
And IPL is not the first time he has tried to do something for his girl friend (of the moment) either. No wonder US vetoed his UN ambitions.
I don’t understand something :
Why is it right for Tharoor to twitter on policy issues, but wrong if Lalit Modi does it ?
And as if the PM of India doesn’t have more important matters to dwell on, he has to listen to some fancy words.
The PM has put up with this nonsense for too long. What the hell is he – a Prime Minister of India or a Personal Minister for Tharoor?
