It is now very clear that the GoI is running around in circles trying to tackle the Maoist menace. When they tried to cajole them into talks, the Maoists replied in true Mao style – “A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery”.
On 4th April, the Home Minister P. Chidambaram was desperate to cast them in every light possible, from cowards to brutes, calling for talks and only managed to inflame them into the Dantewada massacre on 6th April [http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8604256.stm]
Then followed the inevitable finger pointing and covering their backsides culminating in the resignation farce. It was an offer, he said, which became a closed chapter.
So, the PM is now into the act, seems he was closure and so PM asks ministers not to comment on internal security.
Way to go Prime Minister.
Does this mean bloggers too? and what about Tweeters?
