TVS motors is to introduce a clutch less motorcycle in India by the end of this month. Since it won't have a clutch and allow one to change gears, just like that - it should be a great way to drive in these congested city roads with lots of mad madrasis' zooming around.
Obviously the advantage of clutch less but geared vehicles is all the comfort of an auto-gear vehicle, but without the loss of mileage in an auto-gear and obviously the nuisance of the clutch control. Great.
The details are bare, like whether they will offer both a foot-shift and a thumb-shift, but what the hell -
The fair women of Chennai can junk their Pleasures and Scootys, pull their pants up and start zooming on the bikes - yikes!
