Do cricketers eat dinner in the bedroom?

Sheesh!

All madrasis must be mad - only some more so, like me.  What is a 'beach' and what is a 'play ground' ?  Look at this idiotic suggestion that part of the beach should be allowed for playing - this takes the cake - cricket.  Now beach volleyball or kabaddi, I can understand; but cricket on the beach ?!?  Todays Deccan Chronicle has this:

“Cricket is a religion in our country and the government should consider the sentiments of fans and evolve an amicable solution benefiting both public and the players,” says Chennai based cricketer Sadagoppan Ramesh. He adds that the government could segregate a portion of the Marina for cricket players and nets can be put up to ensure that the balls do not hit the public. The authorities can even allot exclusive times for the players when there is no crowd at Marina, Mr Ramesh says.
Cricket is a 'religion',
'Serious' cricket on the beach.

So, what next? dinner in ... er ... bed room ?
:-(
