For the Independence Day in 2003, we had a Doodle. It went missing in 2004. For the Independence Day in 2005, it was back – though almost a facsimile of the 2003 doodle. So this year, I was waiting to see whether we will catch a doodle or not.
Google did not disappoint. Today, they sport a flamboyant Doodle picturing the fluttering National Tri-Colour with the word Google in front. In continuation of the Asoka Chakra theme, the blue wheel takes the second ‘O’ in the word Google – much like in 2003 and 2005.
